The Abu Simbel temples are two massive rock temples that are awe-inspiring on the western bank of Lake Nasser Those wonders are not just dazzling in their architectural grandeur, but also are a witness of the UNESCO efforts to preserve it from submersion when the high dam was built. It is famous for the Sun Festival, or the miracle of solstices!
